The healthy social life is found, when in the mirror of each human being, the whole community finds its reflection and when, in the community, the virtue of each individual is recognized.
Motto of the Social Ethic: Rudolf Steiner 1861-1925
The member communities of the North American Council for Anthroposophic Curative Education and Social Therapy are founded on a striving to realize Rudolf Steiner's motto of the Social Ethic in a living way on a daily basis, striving to build truly inclusive community. Such community can only exist when the patterns of exclusion and oppression that the institutions of our society have perpetuated are confronted and broken down. We recognize the inherent prejudice and violence towards Black, indigenous and other People of Color in the society in which we live, and our responsibility to confront complicity in such oppression as individuals, communities and across our societies.
We stand in solidarity with those who experience exclusion, violence and oppression, and strive to make Black Lives Matter a truth that is lived reality in our communities across North America.
